History of valentine’s day!!!!



Valentines day is now well known all over the world as the day of love for buddies. But just only few people know the history of this day. On 14 February, is usually celebrated with different cards, flowers, chocolates, and fancy dinners by candlelight.
Although this is the way it is celebrated the day , But it was started in a much different style before. Basically, this great day was created by the church in order to remember the St. Valentine, which was the term used to describe a variety of saints that were martyred for their beliefs. Eventually,this day as the holiday took root and became an ever year occurrence with the romantic occasion it is today.
Geoffrey Chaucer was the first person who write about Valentines Day in a romantic fashion , which he was wrote about in his story Parliament of Foules. Many people began to use Valentines Day as a way to celebrate romance, it continued gain traction and grow in the legacy of the original holiday created by the Catholic Church.
Although Valentines Day started to celebrate death of a lover, but the fact is that it is now celebrating by life and love seems to the great lesson on how to move forward from any bad event. Now that we are ready to celebrate, make sure to get your loved ones a Valentines Day.
